Tea with Principal

Tea with the Principal

Our Tea with the Principal program honors and celebrates positive behaviors.  Each month, the school focuses on an important life skill and November’s theme is “Patience”.  Your child was chosen by their classroom teacher as excellent models of patience!

During our time together we enjoyed a few snacks, juice, and conversation. Students shared what they think it means to be “patient”.

Here is what they said:

“wait if someone is using something you want”

“wait calmly and quietly to be called on”

“don’t push someone out of the way to get your turn”

“try to entertain yourself when you have to wait in long lines”

“don’t cut in front of people, wait your turn”

“while waiting for help, work on something else”

“when you get frustrated with something that is hard, be patient with yourself”
