We are gathering pledges for annual Walkathon for the Helman Elementary School PTA fall fundraiser. Please make any effort you can to collect pledges – no pledge too small – and inspire your child to feel pride in doing their part to help support our classrooms, our school and our Helman community.
The Walkathon is a way for every student and family in the Helman community to make a real difference at our school by helping to raise money for a broad range of classroom enrichment and extracurricular activities.
Friends and family near and far can even donate online – just click on the “Donate Now” button below to make a difference.
Family, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to pledge to help raise money for our child-focused projects such as:
- The HUG fund
- OBOB books
- The Ashland Ponds Project
- After-School Arts program
- Science (STEAM) Fair
- School Improvements
- Classroom enrichment grants
- Musical Instruments
- Talent Show and other school-wide events
- Field Trips
- General classroom supplies
- Educational support, i.e. reading specialist expenses
